The Charleswood Hawks are pleased to announce that Kyle Nixon, formerly an assistant with the Hawks and Coach of the WHSHL Stonewall Rams has accepted the position of Coach of the Hawks. Kyle has been with the Hawks for the better part of two seasons, knows the organization, has worked with our systems and already has knowledge on our returning players. Kyle understands the game of hockey very well, is knowledgeable, dedicated and a tireless worker. Being a teacher has also helped him hone his communication skills which is critical if one is to have success coaching in today‘s world.
Assistant Coaches Adam Rath and Gavin McHale will both be back in the Hawk’s nest next season, giving the Hawks a formidable coaching staff.
