Hawks regain scoring touch in win over Riels

Hawks Nov 15 2015
On Friday, the Hawks couldn’t buy a goal and on Sunday, they had lit the lamp on three occasions before the first period was even in the books.  At times, this game can really leave you shaking your head and I guess that is one of the main reasons we love it so.
No less than thirteen Hawks got their names recorded on the game sheet.  Leading the offensive charge were James Bergal with a pair of goals and Dylan Zeke with a goal and an assist.  Other Hawk marksmen were Cory Yeroschak and Shane Kustra-Nelson. Earning assists on the night were Cale Timlick, Cody Groen, Alex Hollyoake, Brendan Hill, Ryan Hutton, Beau Zelenewich, Shawn Pachet, Riley Gilmore and Michael Lorange.  A nice night’s work!
Recording his fifth win of the season between the pipes was Ben Thorlakson who made 26 saves on the 27 shots directed his way.  Hawks were 0 for 2 on the PP and 4 for 4 on the PK.
Next up are the second place Pembina Valley Twisters.  The game takes place on Friday, Nov. 20th at the Eric Coy Arena. Puck drops at 7:30 P.M.
