Rather hangs up the blades…

After a couple of decades with the Charleswood Hawks, it’s now ‘Family Guy’ time for Adam Rath.

Adam came to the Hawks in 2001, serving as captain for 2 years while winning league championships in 2002, 2003, and 2005. After his playing career ended, his coaching debut came in 2009 that saw him and the Hawks win championships in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

Adam’s Personal Achievements:

  • 2002 MMJHL Second Team All-Star
  • 2003, 2004, and 2005 MMJHL First Team All-Star
  • 2003 MMJHL Playoff MVP
  • 2004 MMJHL Defenceman of the Year
  • Charleswood Hawks All-time Leading Scorer among Defensemen

In his final year, he capably served as Assistant General Manager for the Hawks.

We hate to lose Adam but realize family always comes first…we wish him and his lovely, young family well.

Words cannot express the appreciation the Charleswood Hawks organization has for Adam’s hard work, dedication, and devoted commitment that spans two decades.

Thanks for everything Rather…you’re the best!!!
