Final: 6-3 Jets

With eight regulars out of the roster and four AP’s in our line-up, we were in tough against Stonewall Jets yesterday.

A slight hiccup toward the end of the first saw us give up a power play marker and the period ended 1-0.

The Jets stretched the ice out in the second and had us chasing the puck and getting those burning thighs each shift. A few rotten bounces saw the Jets tally three times but we countered twice before the period ended to trail 4-2

Finally we had found the net, #7, Robinson scored our first and AP call-up #27 snapped a wrister home for our second.

We came out flying in the third and Robinson scored his second of the game, a power play marker early on, 4-3.

However, we couldn’t quite battle back and the Jets took advantage of a couple more tired-lines’ breakdowns and it was 6-3 and out of reach.

An entertaining game which saw us returning to form, even with many of our regulars nursing their injuries.

We get three or four ‘regulars’ back for Friday night’s tilt which will see us stronger and hungrier about getting back into the win column.
