HAWKS GET SHUT OUT ON A VISIT TO THE HOOD

Well folks, we sure didn’t get the outcome we’d hoped for from Friday night’s road trip. The Raiders continued their winning streak as the Hawks dropped their first of the season in regulation. The final score was 6-0, with the Raiders out shooting our boys in all 3 periods. This game had no shortage of penalties with 11 in total, resulting in 5 Hawk power plays. Unfortunately, our boys couldn’t get one passed Jeremy Pikel, who stopped all 27 shots he faced. We’d like to thank the Raiders Junior Hockey Club for donating the 50/50 proceeds from our game to “Hockey Heroes” in honour of Wayne’s commitment to minor sports.
