Ryan Hall Recognized at MMJHL Awards Night

Hall Poster flare series 1On May 3rd the MMJHL put their book end on the 2017-18 season with their annual year end awards banquet at the Polo Park Canad Inns.  Fresh off his record setting performance that became a new standard for MMJHL goalies in both Goals Against Average (1.58) and Save Percentage (0.948), Ryan Hall was a runaway winner of the Ron Smith Memorial Trophy for Outstanding Goaltender.  For Hawks fans this comes as no surprise as Hall was awarded Goaltender of the month on 3 separate occasions during the 2017-18 campaign (October 2017, November 2017, and December 2017).  In addition, Hall was also named a first team league all-star and was joined on the squad by fourth year graduating Hawk defenseman Riley GilmoreRounding out the accolades on the evening for the Hawks were J.P. Lovell who was awarded with the Anthony McLaughlin Memorial Scholarship and Spencer Ferbers who went home with the Nick Hill Memorial Scholarship.  Congratulations to Ryan, Riley, J.P., and Spencer for jobs well done!
