Hawks Close out 2017 on 9 Game Streak!

Your Charleswood Hawks moved to just 2 points back of first place with a hard fought 2-1 victory on Thursday night over the St.Vital Vics. Ryan Hall had yet another solid performance between the pipes for the Hawks with 23 saves letting up a lone goal on a Vics powerplay in the second.  Scoring from the Hawks came didn’t come from the usual subjects on Thursday as Austin Hesselbart notched his first of the season late in the first from Reg Bowles and Noah Robidoux. The game was tied going into the final frame until Taylor Opperman knocked in his second of the year from Hesselbart at 6:37, which proved to be the game winner.
